What’s a technical note
When you are developing or reading books or blogs, you will forget many things you have read in a short time, and many people will choose a note-taking software, such as Notion, Obsidian, etc., to record what they have learned, which is called technical notes.
Why don’t you take notes
There are some people who hold the view that you don’t need to take notes, that most of the books we read in our lifetime are meaningless, or that you can easily find what you need through a search engine without even putting it in your browser bookmarks. In fact it is true that many people take notes and then rarely read them a second time.
Should you take notes or not
My personal opinion is, for programmers only, to take notes, but there are a few principles:

Notes should follow their own thinking processing and summarize the output, so that it is convenient to follow the map in the brain;

notes are not only to record knowledge, but also can be questions, journey, etc.;

notes should be easy to retrieve, which I believe is not a problem with Obsidian.
